Small hands, painted hopes—children dream of the future of healthcare
Young artists aged between 6 and 10 draw in groups of two or three. This setup allows each child to receive individual attention. Some dream of becoming doctors themselves, others design their future hospital on paper, and many capture their favourite doctor or nurse in their drawings. The number of drawings is growing week by week, with sessions continuing until the end of September.
Organised by the 4iG Foundation, the programme aims to provide children with experience and build their self-confidence. The Foundation supplies drawing materials, certificates and small gifts, all of which help make drawing a genuine source of joy. The sessions are led with care and attention by Krisztina, a dedicated staff member at the Paediatrics Clinic, encouraging children to imagine their own stories.
Childlike imagination, smiles and curiosity are present in every feature. These works will come to life in a special location. We will soon tell you more about exactly where and for what purpose. We can already reveal that this is part of the cooperation between the Semmelweis Paediatrics Clinic and the 4iG Group, which began in 2023.
