4iG Foundation and the SOTE Paediatrics Clinics

The collaboration between the 4iG Foundation and Semmelweis University’s Paediatrics Clinics demonstrates that technological innovation, improved patient care and community engagement can go hand in hand, supported by digital tools. This collaboration is not just a plan or a promise, but a commitment and genuine dedication to making a real difference to children's health and medical education. The SOTE Paediatrics Clinics treat approximately 180,000 young patients each year, amplifying the impact of the collaboration.

Based on three main pillars, our partnership with them is intended to deliver the following improvements.

  1. Digital learning centre
The disused engineering building of the Tűzoltó Street Clinic will be transformed into a modern skills lab where students can learn through simulations and surgical broadcasts. The centre will also offer educational programmes for parents. The 4iG Foundation will contribute to this project by providing digital infrastructure, financial resources and professional support.
  2. Patient call system and technical improvements
At the Paediatrics Clinic on Tűzoltó Street, a new electronic system and a state-of-the-art patient call system will make patient management more transparent and efficient. The aim of the development is to reduce waiting times, provide better information for patients and their parents and support the work of healthcare professionals. The 4iG Foundation delivers funding and professional coordination for the project.
  3. Volunteering and community involvement
Employees of 4iG volunteer once a year to support the SOTE Paediatrics Clinics. Our colleagues bring a more welcoming, human touch to the hospital through festive decorations and community activities.
